TabTrade - What It Is
Tab Trade opened in March 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
His background is relevant. It means the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. Still preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.
They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade went the other way. Not the typical playbook.
The instrument list: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For a broker that is a few months old, the breadth is broad.
Platforms
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both matters. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have used MetaTrader previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. A lot of traders prefer it after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be in the works. That would be a good addition when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. $0 to start. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. This broker does not.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not relevant to most retail traders. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
This is where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.
Does this affect you? For short-term trading, it does. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. The point is the setup is serious. That says what kind of broker this is.
Pair those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package is strong. Hardly anyone in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
Here is the thing you need to be straight about. TabTrade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
But. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Dodgy operations do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. It does factor into your decision.
The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You deposit, they add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.
